Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, it’s Thanksgiving across the pond on Thursday. Thanksgiving, the traditional curtain raiser to the Black Friday sales (pretty sure that’s what it’s all about), is wildly celebrated in the US of A, so much so that we’ve got the gift of three NFL games to gorge on this Thursday.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
And, never one to miss out on a party and copious amounts of food, Paddy’s getting in on the act. He’s giving away a free Bet Builder on the Bills @ Saints game in the early hours of Friday morning if you place a qualifying Bet Builder on the Raiders @ Cowboys match at 9.30pm on Thursday.
And to help you potentially make Paddy pay for his generosity, we’ve roped in Tom Carnduff from Sporting Life to deliver his belting Bet Builders for both games. So, here’s Tom with his tips for Thursday’s later games.

Raiders +7.5
Both teams come into this one on the back of disappointing defeats in week 11. The Cowboys were beaten by that low score from the Chiefs, the Raiders lost to the Bengals. I just think that Raiders +7.5 line is a little too high in favour of the away side.
They’ve had their issues in previous weeks with the unavailability of CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper adding to the fact they struggled in their last outing. Any smaller than +7.5 would maybe make me think a bit more but the fact you’re getting a touchdown on this one, it just looks a bit generous so I’m going to side with the Raiders +7.5.
Under 50.5 total points
We’ve spoken previously about low scoring on Thursday Night Football and the fact that this game is a couple of hours earlier than we’re used to, I think will only help us get Under 50.5 Total Points.
The injuries and the fact the line is so high at 50.5 as well, going Under would have won in the Cowboys’ last four so Under 50.5 Total Points, for me, is the one.
Under 20.5 total Raiders points
I think, looking around the markets, that this one is a decent little value play. We’re expecting a low-scoring contest, so taking the Raiders to score Under 20.5 points adds a great bit of value, for me.
They haven’t actually scored 21 points in any of their three games since the bye week and they’ve obviously had these issues in producing and getting the points as well. I think that line, again, is just a bit too high for me.
If the Raiders get 20 you can take the Cowboys at 27 and we’re still hitting all of these bets. That looks good to me, Under 20.5 Raiders total points.
Darren Waller anytime TD scorer
The Cowboys are the favourites and I like to look to the favourites but those injury issues bring some doubt to me on that side of things. Darren Waller at tight end is a popular target for Derek Carr with 116 receiving yards in their game against the Bengals.
His average this season actually sits at 67.8 so that shows the kind of form that he’s going to come into this game in. He has the most receiving yards in this Raiders side so I’m going to side with Darren Waller to score a touchdown anytime.
Friday 1.21am: Bills @ Saints

Buffalo Bills -4
Hopefully we’ll be celebrating a winner in the early one going into this game but the Bills are just turning into an NFL punter’s nightmare because of the inconsistency of results in recent weeks. They were heavily beaten by the Jonathan Taylor show and the Colts last time out.
But they comfortably covered the big handicap when they played the Jets the week before. A number of key players are missing for the Saints, let’s not forget that, both in offence and defence.
I think it’s worth backing the Buffalo Bills at -4. I’m more than happy to back the Bills to get the job done by at least a touchdown in this one.
Over 46.5 total points
I’m going to go against the usual Thursday Night Football trend in this one because that line is enough to tempt me going Over 46.5 total points. Even with the injuries and absentees the Saints still put up 29 against the Eagles on Sunday.
They’ve scored 20 or more in each of their last four contest and the Bills, they’ve demonstrated an ability to pretty much cover this line themselves. I perhaps expected it to just be a tad higher so that’s tipped me into going Over 46.5 Total Points.
Stefon Diggs anytime TD scorer
Stefon Diggs has been in great form and he comes into this off the back of a brace against the Colts which I really enjoyed on the fact that I backed him the week before to get a brace against the Jets! But he did get one in that game, it also means that he’s scored in four of his last five outings.
The Bills are averaging 272.9 passing yards per game. For me, Diggs looks great value to get an anytime touchdown in this one.
Josh Allen anytime TD scorer
I didn’t expect Josh Allen to be this big in this one and I think it might be because Saints are typically a strong side in stopping rushing yards against but I think players missing in that defensive line, you look at the tackles that are going to be absent, probably played its part in the fact the Eagles had 242 rushing yards in that win on Sunday.
We know Josh Allen likes to rush with the ball, he has three rushing touchdowns already this season and is averaging around 34 rushing yards per game as well. The value there on Josh Allen Anytime Touchdown scorer will give us a nice price.
