1.30pm TRIUMPH HURDLE – ASPIRE TOWER
I don’t fancy Solo in the triumph. Not that I don’t fancy him at all, and he’s a very backable price now, but I’m keen on Aspire Tower.
The week couldn’t be going better for trainer Henry de Bromhead. He’s having a good time of it, the horse is obviously well and Rachel Blackmore is riding out of her skin. All that means I’m all for Aspire Tower, who is my best bet of the day.

2.10pm COUNTY HURDLE – MOHAAYED
I’ve been hearing a couple of whispers about Mohaayed, who won this race back in 2018.
It’s spelled really weirdly as well which I like! Horses with weird spellings do really well in the County Hurdle like Ch’tibello last year.

2.50pm ALBERT BARTLETT NOVICES’ HURDLE – THYME HILL
Latest Exhibition’s trainer Paul Nolan is very well liked in Ireland, he’s a sound guy and has amazing hair! Fair play to him for that.
Thyme Hill could go off as favourite. We’re always looking for ways not to back the favourite, but I think he’s done nothing wrong. If it quacks like a duck it’s probably a duck, so that’s my tip for the Bartlett.

Al Boum Photo is an obvious choice and an obvious favourite. But for some reason it’s hard to win back-to-back Gold Cups.
I like Lostintranslation, and will forgive his pretty poor showing in the King George where he was pulled up. He beat Bristol De Mai at Haydock in what was his rival’s home track and that was impressive. Hopefully he’ll go OK.
For an outside bet, and because I love him, Presenting Percy.

4.10pm FOXHUNTER CHASE – STAKER WALLACE
Billaway beat the talking horse in this one, Staker Wallace, last time out at Naas towards the end of January, so that could be a bit of a hint towards what will happen here.
Despite that there’s a lot of chatter about Staker Wallace so I think he’ll come on a lot from that race and he’s my tip here.

I think Lisp is the most likely winner. But I’m actually going to back Paloma Blue because Henry de Bromhead’s on a good roll.
5.30pm MARTIN PIPE HANDICAP HURDLE – FRONT VIEW
AP McCoy said last weekend whatever Jonjo O’Neill Jr rides will win, and he’s on Front View. So that’s who I’m tipping in this one.
