Cheltenham results: All the winners and losers on Gold Cup Friday at the Festival

The final day of the 2020 Cheltenham Festival kicked off with the Triumph Hurdle at 1.30pm. Goshen went off as favourite although Solo was not far behind in the betting. Allmankind and Aspire Tower also had their backers.

Next up at 2.10pm was the County Hurdle with Willie Mullins’ Ciel De Neige well fancied. Saint Roi and Aramon were next up in the pecking order.

In 2.50pm Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, Latest Exhibition went off among the shorter-priced horses, along with Monkfish, Fury Road and Thyme Hill.

The feature race of the whole Festival is the 3.30pm Cheltenham Gold Cup. Al Boum Photo went out to defend his title from last year and went off as favourite. Gordon Elliot has had a cracking festival and his entry Delta Work well well backed, with Santini also liked.

Afterwards at 4.10pm was the Foxhunter Chase. Billaway and Minella Rocco went off short, with Staker Wallace and Hazel Hill also seeing support.

The penultimate race of the 2020 Festival was the 4.50pm Grand Annual Chase. Chosen Mate for Gordon Elliot went off as favourite, with Greaneteen and Lisp also among the shorter-priced horses in the race.

The 5.30pm the Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle brought Cheltenham to an end. Front View, Ilikedwayurthinkin, Five O’Clock and Column Of Fire were all fancied at the start.
