Day three of the Cheltenham Festival 2020 kicked off with the 1.30pm Marsh Novices’ Chase. Fan favourite Faugheen went off at a short price, with Samcro and Itchy Feet also well backed.
In the 2.10pm Pertemps Final Sire Du Berlais was out to defend the race he won last year. The Storyteller, Welsh Saint and Relegate all went off at a a shorter price, though.

The Ryanair Chase at 2.50pm looked to be between A Plus Tard and Min, although Frodon also had support at the start.
In Thursday’s feature race, the 3.30pm Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle, Paisley Park was the huge odds-on favourite, with the likes of Summerville Boy, Apples Jade, Penhill and Emitom all trailing in the betting stakes.

In the 4.10pm Festival Plate, Simply The Betts went off as favourite in an open-looking race. Death Duty and Blazer were among the shorter priced others at the start.
The market for the Dawn Run Novices’ Hurdle at 4.50pm was led by Minella Melody. Colreevy, Ard Abhainn, Concertista, Floressa and Dolcita also looked to be in the frame.
In the final race of the day, the 5.30pm Fulke Walwyne Kim Muir, Le Breuil went off as favourite, with Champagne Platinum next up in the betting markets.
