13:10 Cork – Voice Of Reason

Beaten 3l by Redcliff Glen on return at Limerick last time, VOICE OF REASON can improve enough from that to turn the tables on that rival plus Morepowertoya who was runner-up. Jake Peter, Mount Ferns and Sayitfirst are all respected.

13:25 Curragh – Zephron

A minefield. Merisi Diamond and Selective Power come into this in fine form and should go well again as should the last time out C&D winner Genuine Jim, though he is 7lb out of the handicap.

Mercurial is another one that can’t be discounted in first-time blinkers. Uncle Albert has dropped to a nice mark and could outrun his odds but a chance is taken on last year’s winner ZEPHRON. He won off this mark over C&D in April, soft ground suits and he shaped nicely enough last time at Naas.

14:25 Curragh – Gleneagle Bay

If handling soft ground, GLENEAGLE BAY could be hard to beat since he is one of the least exposed runners here and was only just denied on his handicap debut at Leopardstown. Sam Coen’s 10lb claim can come into play to help the consistent Orandi reverse recent Leopardstown running with Titanium.

British raider Empirestateofmind came back to form at York and could make his presence felt. Indigo Five and Simply Sideways, placed in this event 12 months ago, may get into the mix again.

15:15 Cork – Outside The Door

He stays well and will have the good ground that he likes so OUTSIDE THE DOOR, who has won his last two starts, is the selection. Jumping Jet should have come on from last Sunday’s return at Galway and looks the best of Gordon Elliott’s, while Sphagnum and Sainte Dona are others that make some appeal. Last year’s winner, Sir Bob, lacks a prep this time around, and the consistent Positive Thinker would prefer it wetter.

15:50 Cork – Realism

A disappointing sort on the level and over hurdles, blinkers might eke out a bit more from REALISM with a recent Flat run to blow away the cobwebs. Glendars Mahler was running well when hampered at Punchestown last time and could go well. Duke Otto, Spring Meadow, Mag Dillane and Due Course are dangers. Queen Jane is of interest too.

16:10 Curragh – Bloom Vega

Entitled to come on from her latest run here which was on the back of five months off, BLOOM VEGA is given another chance to deliver on the promise of her course debut second to a smart colt in April.

Like the selection, Royal Entry has finished runner-up over 1m2f at this venue and is feared while the market will indicate Osprey’s state of readiness after a year off. Tribal Star has the rating to contend but is another who’s been off a long time.
