Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:35 Sedgefield – Continuance (Racing Post)

This may take minimal winning, and Flat scorer CONTINUANCE will earn the vote on his hurdle debut. Path Of Stars was a well-beaten third of six at Fontwell recently, and she is second choice ahead of Sweet Soul Music.

15:25 Kempton – Beau Balko (Wrexham Leader)

There are plenty of ifs and buts with this field at this stage of the season, but BEAU BALKO is undoubtedly capable of scoring off this mark, judged on what he showed at Ayr in April before forfeiting all winning chances with a blunder two out. Frere d’Armes is feared most, having had a 12lb higher mark at this stage last term.

16:35 Kempton – Killer Kane (Racing Post)

Lightly-raced 8-year-old Blairgowrie made a promising chase debut in January and may be able to make up for lost time this season, but the suggestion is KILLER KANE. The top weight is not as good as he was, but he runs this track very well and will appreciate today’s ease in grade.

Long-absent 8yo Poppa Poutine has also become well handicapped and is next on the list, although cases can be made for all eight runners.

16:45 Leopardstown – Autumn Winter (NAP) (The Brigadier)

There should be more to come from AUTUMN WINTER (nap), and he can come forward from his Thurles victory to land this prize. The Galileo colt will want further in time but handles easy ground and a positive ride would see him to best effect.

Fellow progressive 3yo Masoun is a threat, but soft ground wouldn’t be ideal for him, while ready Listowel winner Soaring Monarch merits plenty of respect, too.
