Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:20 Salisbury – Edvard Grieg (The Times)

Having posted an improved effort at Nottingham on his debut for Dylan Cunha, EDVARD GRIEG could well take another step forward and get off the mark. Double Red, who may show the benefit of this drop in class with headgear fitted, is second choice ahead of Finn Russell who won his most recent Flat start. Darysina Gold has possibilities granted fast ground, while Lzaz could be involved now handicapping.

16:05 Newbury – Gigi Bliss (The Guardian)

The most striking differentiating factor among these newcomers seems to be the Group 2 and Group 1 entries held by GIGI BLISS but others such as Suhub, Chadleeny, and Orange Sky make appeal on paper. The market moves should reveal plenty more.

16:50 Haydock – Naaey (Telegraph)

The Gosden-trained NAAEY looked a lightly raced 4yo to follow when winning with something to spare at Doncaster last month and can defy a 6lb rise. Elladonna is another filly who is firmly on the up and is feared most in her hat-trick bid. The 3yos Zenjabeela and Warda Jamila are other likely dangers.

18:15 Clonmel – Jarvis Brook (Spotlight)

Provided that he doesn’t bounce, JARVIS BROOK ought to go well after a big run on his return at Gowran last month when making his debut for Paul Nolan. If he comes on for that, he could be hard to beat despite a 4lb higher handicap mark. Jeaniemacaroney is an obvious threat, particularly if she can get an easy lead from stall two, and The World’s Astage was an eyecatcher behind the selection at Gowran Park.
