14:02 Bath – Soldiers Design (Daily Express)
Wrestling Revenue (second choice) and Smooth Silesie have enjoyed productive summers and can feature prominently, but SOLDIERS DESIGN ran creditably against some seasoned handicappers at Sandown last week and benefits from Sean D Bowen’s valuable 3lb claim.
14:10 Lingfield – Red Cloud (Liverpool Echo)
The three leading contenders are fitted with an aid for the first time. Failing after trading at 1.2 and 1.04 in running the last twice shouldn’t be held against RED CLOUD who has the tactical speed to cope with what’s likely to be a messy race. Sea La Venus is surely better than we’ve seen to date.
15:40 Lingfield – Princess Jastar (East Anglian Daily Times)
Older horses Huh Ah Bah Loo, who struck here on Saturday and is second choice, and Thoughtful Gift could come into this late on if the pace is at least sound, but 3yo PRINCESS JASTAR is favoured. She may need stepping up in trip before long, but first-time headgear could sharpen her up for this, and Tom Clover has his string in good nick.
15:55 Southwell – The Pug (Racing and Football Outlook)
Kehlani could play a part having run well in her only previous visit here, while Bearaway could also make an impact if transferring his recent turf form back to the AW, but the two to focus on are The Bay Warrior and THE PUG. The former is back off his last winning mark and was twice placed off 2lb higher over this C&D in spring, but slight preference is for The Pug, who won twice here at around this time last year, and has dropped 3lb lower than his latest success.
