16:50 – Signor Ferrari

Several with seemingly similar sorts of chances. SIGNOR FERRARI has to bounce back from a couple of underwhelming handicap runs but his previous C&D second in a similar contest gives him major claims. Moutarde, Latin, Guest Star and Tartaraghan all have chances of sorts, while Chou Chou could go well despite seemingly to have plenty on at the weights

17:25 – Rudi’s Apple (NAP)

A decent maiden in which Windsor Castle’s sixth RUDI’S APPLE (nap) is taken to get off the mark, as this extra furlong likely to suit. He could be given a good test by Snapdragon, Black Forza and Zambales, while barrier trial third Whiskey And Beer is also worth a look.

18:00 – Extensio

Sixth over C&D on her seasonal debut, the generally reliable EXTENSIO should strip fitter now and has a realistic chance of turning the tables on progressive winner Sixpack. Johnny Murtagh’s runner has cheekpieces on for the first time for this hat trick bid. Baltic Bird is hard to assess at this stage but is fit from hurdling

18:30 – Trevaunance

Though yet to prove beyond doubt that she can recapture the high class form she showed two seasons ago, TREVAUNANCE gets the vote in the wake of a reassuring Cork second. Dancing Tango may prove the pick of Joseph O’Brien’s three runners and could reverse the form of her seasonal debut with the lower-rated Countess Of Tyrone. Smart hurdler Magical Zoe is relatively unexposed in a Flat race context and may hold her own,

19:00 – John Steinbeck

The bar is set relatively low for the superbly-bred JOHN STEINBECK who was ready to run at the Irish Derby fixture. Jack Cleary rode a maiden winner for the stable last week, so there are no worries on that score. Eshnunna is a potentially interesting newcomer from the Weld yard. Monasterboice, No Knee Never and Four Blondes have solid if unspectacular form claims

19:30 – Lexington Dash

With heavy rain forecast the going could soften, which would favour the likes of Mercurial. However, if the ground gets no worse than good then LEXINGTON DASH would have major claims of gaining a second win in this race, having also finished third last year. Daamberdiplomat will be a serious danger if seeing this trip out, while Verhoyen and Universally are others to consider.

20:00 – Gosford

Not much to get excited about here and perhaps best to stick with top weight and last week’s Roscommon winner GOSFORD as a talented claimer, for whom any easing in the ground will be no problem. Below Deck, Navorrosse and Goldmoyne are possible dangers.
