Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:05 Goodwood – The Thunderer (Daily Mail)

Manxman ended last season on a roll and the market may indicate whether he is likely to continue it now back from 225 days off. The maiden Miss Cynthia has shown more than enough to suggest she has races in her, but it may be worth chancing THE THUNDERER despite a question mark if the ground is soft/heavy. His successes have come over shorter, but he does stay this far and has dropped back down to his last winning mark.

14:50 Musselburgh – Whogoesthere (The Times)

A few with chances but Declan Carroll’s WHOGOESTHERE took his form up a notch when third at Southwell on his reappearance and can gain his breakthrough success here. C&D scorer Zaphea is feared most, although Catterick runner-up Scoops Ahoy seems sure to have a say too for his in-form yard.

16:15 Punchestown – Perceval Legallois (Spotlight)

With two falls against his name and a tailed-off last, PERCEVAL LEGALLOIS is evidently risky but it may be worth taking the gamble he can put in an error-free round. Mister Policeman deserves automatic respect with Paul Townend up, but his stablemate Feu Du Bresil and Rachael Blackmore’s mount Arctic Bresil have sound theoretical prospects of beating him. Hardwired could go well off bottom weight.

16:45 Newmarket – Skukuza (The Star)

Silent Age has to prove himself on turf, but the stable has a good recent record in this race so he has to be shortlisted. Nothing comes into this in better form than Rocking Tree and he is another major player if transferring his recent AW form back to turf. There is probably still more to come from the reappearing handicap newcomers Volterra and L’Ennemi, but SKUKUZA may be worth siding with. Placed in both starts last year, he made an encouraging return here last month and that form received a timely boost at Windsor on Monday.
