Arrest, the winner of last season’s Chester Vase before flopping when favourite for the Epsom Derby, bids to bounce back from a disappointing reappearance in the Group 3 Ormonde Stakes (3:40pm) on day two of the May Festival at Chester. There could be Classic clues on offer in the Listed Dee Stakes (3:05pm) as God’s Window takes on four rivals including Feilden winner Jayarebe.

There are also Flat fixtures at Brighton, Chelmsford and Gowran Park as well as Jumps meetings at Huntingdon, Stratford and Tipperary.
