13:22 Wincanton – Paddy De Pole (Racing Post, West Country)

PADDY DE POLE won his point on good ground and was encountering similar conditions for the first time when bounding clear in a 2m4f handicap at Plumpton last week. Must have every chance of following up under a penalty.

15:30 The Curragh – Zephron (Racing Post, On The Nose)

ZEPHRON won a big-field C&D handicap by 6l on his final run of last season but the handicapper didn’t hold back with a 15lb rise; may have needed the run at Naas but now has to prove himself worthy of this high a mark.

15:55 Stratford – Churchman (The Sun, Templegate)

CHURCHMAN is 0-6 over hurdles but lost out only by a nose after keeping on well in the straight at Ludlow (2m, soft) in February and looks ready for this move back up in trip.

18:45 Musselburgh – Equality (Racing Post, Lambourn)

EQUALITY  acts on good to soft ground. Laid two duck eggs in Dubai this year but may revive back on home soil and mark looks workable. Was impressive on his last handicap attempt and followed up at Group 3 level. Has to be respected on that peak form.
