There are six meetings scheduled across the tracks in the UK and Ireland today – and our nifty NAPs Table is here to give you a steer on the day’s best bets.

Galopin Des Champs headlines the field of nine for the Punchestown Gold Cup (5:25pm) on the second day of the Punchestown Festival as last year’s winner Fastorslow bids to retain the crown. The other Grade 1s on the card see Dancing City and Stellar Story clash in the Channor Real Estate Group Novice Hurdle (4:15pm) before Champion Bumper 1-2, Jasmin De Vaux and Romeo Coolio, renew rivalries in the Race & Stay At Punchestown Champion I.N.H. Flat Race (4:50pm).

It is also a big day on the level as Ascot stages Trials Day where Coltrane bids to retain the Group 3 Longines Sagaro Stakes (2:15pm) and Purosangue makes his seasonal reappearance in the Group 3 Commonwealth Cup Trial Stakes (2:50pm).

There is also turf action at Brighton and Pontefract as well as all-weather meetings at Wolverhampton and Kempton.
