13:30 – Ballyburn

There’s absolutely no reason to be against BALLYBURN. He won’t mind the sticky ground and, on pedigree, he will stay three miles. He is impossible to be against. He should have this very easily.

14:10 – Montys Star

I have been on MONTYS STAR since the ante-post for this, and I am pleased with where I am. He will be the danger to Fact To File and has a reasonable chance of winning.

14:50 – Doddiethegreat

DODDIETHEGREAT stands out in this one. The key here is to watch Jeriko Du Reponet in the Supreme on Tuesday, if he finishes his race off it suggests Nicky Henderson has prepped his horses well and if so, I give Doddiethegreat every chance.

15:30 Edwardstone

EDWARDSTONE can potentially get the favourites on the back foot early in this one. If he is ridden aggressively, he can cause problems for El Fabiolo and Jonbon. If he is asked to go and attack his fences, he is capable of winning this.

16:10 Francky Du Berlais (each-way)

I have a small each-way punt on FRANCKY DU BERLAIS in this one, his trainer Peter Bowen has been firing in winners recently and that would suggest that he could get in the places here. He doesn’t quite have the class of the favourites, but he could feature with the extra place here.

16:50 – Hardy Du Seuil

HARDY DU SEUIL has gone slightly under the radar coming into this one. He has been effective over hurdles this season and can do just as well over fences. Trainer Jamie Snowden had two winners at Stratford at the weekend, which suggests the stable is in good form.

17:30 – The Yellow Clay

THE YELLOW CLAY caught the eye at Leopardstown in February, his odds have come in since. He was second best on the day and travelled well following a lay-off. So he could be in with a shout here.
