14:02 Wolfspear
WOLFSPEAR has returned from a long absence in excellent order and he made it two wins from three starts this term when registering a battling success at Uttoxeter in January. Wolfspear had to show a tough attitude to fend off his stablemate and that determined response to pressure will continue to stand him in good stead. He remains fairly treated following a 4lb rise in the weights and ought to launch another bold bid under Oliver Boyden, who has been aboard for both victories this season.
14:32 Fortunefavoursdbold
FORTUNEFAVOURSDBOLD has taken some time to find her feet for this stable but she responded well to the application of cheekpieces at Huntingdon last month and won with more in hand than the margin of a length and a half might suggest, idling on the run-in when in control.
She jumped with much more fluency than she had when falling on her chasing debut at Ludlow in October on her first start for Christian Williams (was previously with Paul Nolan in Ireland) and it would be little surprise were she to rack up a sequence having fallen a good way in the weights since joining this stable. A 5lb rise following her comfortable Huntingdon success should not stop her following up.
15:02 Home Free
HOME FREE showed plenty of ability in bumpers, finishing placed at Wetherby and Chepstow, and he has also been shaping up well over hurdles. He stepped up on the form of his hurdling debut when runner-up at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago, pulling well clear of the remainder, and the level he ran to there marks him out as the one to beat, particularly with more to come.
15:32 Hunter Legend
HUNTER LEGEND is a half-brother to the very smart chaser Cepage and he has made a promising start over fences, finishing runner-up at Ludlow and Leicester. He probably would have filled the same position at Wetherby last time had he not fallen at the second last when around four lengths down and sticking to his task, and the form of that effort has been well advertised by the winner and third scoring next time out.
Hunter Legend is able to run off the same mark here and remains relatively unexposed over fences so is of strong interest in this weaker event.

16:02 Major Fortune
MAJOR FORTUNE has thrived since being upped in trip and he completed the four-timer when successful over this course and distance a couple of weeks ago. Major Fortune only won by a neck but a slow gallop that only picked up approaching the second last masked his superiority, and he scored with more in hand than the margin might suggest. He remains capable of better granted a proper test and a 6lb rise in the weights should not be enough to prevent him extending his winning run.
16:32 Copper Cove
Bumper winner COPPER COVE produced his best effort yet over hurdles when landing a two-and-a-quarter mile handicap at Fontwell last month, keeping on well to draw seven lengths clear. This drop in trip doesn’t look like an obvious move given his strength in the finish at Fontwell, but the heavy ground should ensure that this is a thorough test and he looks worth siding with from his 7lb higher mark. Benjamin Macey, who has got a good tune out of Copper Cove the last twice, retains the ride.
