13:30 Theatre Native
Quite a few of these have realistic claims. Mi Lucky Cailin is capable of being thereabouts, Arch Hall will be too if she can improve for her debut effort, while Cottesloe Sunshine could well be good enough to play a part on her first appearance. However, despite two runs below expectations, it might be woth giving another chance to THEATRE NATIVE. This could be an ideal opportunity for her.
14:03 In The Trenches
Toll Stone and Roboreti were separated by a short-head here earlier this month and there is unlikely to be a lot between them again here. The one to be on, though, could be IN THE TRENCHES, who has progressed gradually and has a big chance on his recent Limerick run.
14:40 Slangoibhgoleir
A good gallop is almost guaranteed with the likes of Kilbree Warrior in the field. Dunvegan is clearly of interest off this mark in a rare run over hurdles. Glen Kiln comes here in good and consisent form and should run his race, but the vote goes to first-time handicapper SLANAGOIBHGOLEIR, who is dropping back in trip but should appreciate the likely generous pace.
15:15 Jouster (NAP)
Not many of these come into the race in any real form. Chosen Shant has definite claims on both of her runs at Naas, while Quornofamonday sets a good standard if his latest run can be ignored. Preference is for JOUSTER (nap), who was poised to challenge when falling here last time and could get compensation.

15:50 I Am Maximus
Most eyes will be on last year’s runner-up Vanillier as the Grand National favourite has his prep run for Aintree. Irish National and Drinmore winner I AM MAXIMUS has no Galopin Des Champs to contend with this time, though, and looks the most likely winner. Minella Crooner should to be a big player too after his fine effort at Tramore.
16:25 Intense Raffles
All four have some sort of chance here. Good Time Jonny ran well in the Leopardstown Chase last time after some poor jumping. Brampton Belle did okay stepped up to this trip at Cheltenham last time, while Bardenstown Lad has to come back to his good hurdles form. It is hard to overlook the claims of INTENSE RAFFLES, however, after his easy win in a novice chase here last month that has worked out very well.
17:00 Jersey Des Brosses
Sky Lord can be expected to improve on his Leopardstown debut, but looks likely to play third fiddle. Sporting Glory was second to the highly-touted Romeo Coolio here last month, but may have to settle for second spot again behind the Gordon Elliott-trained JERSEY DES BROSSES, whose second to Jingko Blue in an Oldtown point-to-point a year ago makes for very good reading now.
