The prospect of having a fast pace to chase heightens interest in RABINAL (nap). He did well to finish second here two runs back having pulled hard and it wasn’t a bad effort latest after starting slowly. So Chic is closely matched with the selection and she’s got plenty going for her. Maurices Men is another likely contender if able to overcome his wide draw.

Archie Watson’s SPIRITUAL PURSUIT succumbed only to a Godolphin filly (previous winner) at Wolverhampton and she can go one better. Kinako Mochi is no doubt capable of improving on her Kempton form and she edges second preference over the penalised Queen Of Zafeen. Heavenly Fire looks the pick of the newcomers.

This looks a bit trappy but it might be worth sticking with BOSH, who justified favouritism with his strong-finishing win at Chelmsford last month and is only 2lb higher on this step back up in trip. George Baker’s front-runner Hieronymus has been in good form at Kempton in his last two starts and he’s feared most, ahead of six-time AW winner Aljari. McLean House has won three of his six starts and still has potential but he needs to bounce back after a disappointing run last time.
15:00 Rising Force
After his 13 races and one win, RISING FORCE should be vulnerable to an improver but he is holding his form well and it’s not clear where the improvement is coming from among his less exposed rivals. Hatadora, on her handicap debut, is second on the list.

Baileys Warrior has been knocking on the door in 2m handicaps and should be in the thick of things again, but slight preference is for FOINIX, who has had only one attempt at this trip and that was an eyecatching second behind a major improver over C&D last week. Triple Nickle has claims if she can build on her third at Kempton 12 days ago, while Lilla Cross needs checking in the market on her return.
16:10 Dayman
Larado will inject some pace into the race and Smart Deal won’t be far behind him, so this should be truly run. It could be the day when everything drops right for DAYMAN. Arctician and Sandy Paradise were ahead of the selection when they last clashed and they’re feared in that order, though Enough Already is another to consider.
16:45 Night On Earth
Level Up got the better of NIGHT ON EARTH here last month but the selection has since gone one better and he’s not without hope of getting an uncontested lead. Harb and Star Of Lady M should also feature if repeating their latest efforts.
