Charlie’s Choice (second choice) was comfortably on top at Wolverhampton earlier in the month and he should go well, while Luna Effect and Uzincso also have something to recommend them. The betting should be revealing where Let Her Loose, Lookingdandy, Sir Laurence Graff and Star Of Sussex are concerned but this can fall to the unexposed GONNETOT. He’s been absent for nine months but he was doing some good late work when second on his handicap debut and can rate higher in time.

Lady Of Arabia (second choice), Beltane and Gavi Di Gavi can all go well but AL MARMAR relished the return to 1m at Chelmsford ten days ago and he can make light of the 5lb penalty.
18:00 King’s Vanity
Despite the worse terms KING’S VANITY could well improve further and confirm Lingfield placings with Alexandretta, who still has to be feared despite being hitherto frustrating. Elusive Empire is quite interesting returned to 7f, while That’s Dandy Harry is open to progress.
18:30 Silver Samurai
An interesting handicap which looks set to be run at a good pace. Dubai Station has to prove his stamina for 7f but he’s well handicapped and has had excuses since joining his current yard. Aratus (second choice) has run well in both starts here since returning from a year off and he’s a strong contender back at 7f but SILVER SAMURAI could be worth chancing. Although he’s 0-8 on AW, he’s yet to run a poor race at this track and he’s handicapped to go well.

19:00 Ensured
Dropped in grade on this second start back in the British scene, ENSURED could well be the answer. Suffrajet, who may have more to offer back at Kempton, is second choice ahead of possible improver Golden Delite. Southwell scorer Andaleep has obvious claims assuming he remains in the same form.
19:30 Running The Game
The vote goes to unexposed RUNNING THE GAME, who took well to this surface three weeks ago and looks open to further progress. Most of his rivals have solid-looking claims and narrow second choice is Orange N Blue, who looks likely to find extra for first-time headgear. Raintown ties in with that rival, while God Of Thunder and Ocean Heights are other closely matched opponents. Polar Princess also has possibilities.
20:00 Amiwithani (NAP)
Being a recent C&D scorer who should have more to offer in handicaps, AMIWITHANI (nap) holds particularly strong claims. Livinthelife, a similar sort, is second choice ahead of It’s Not Risky and Pop Noodle. Also bear in mind Something To Do, provided he turns out quickly.
20:30 Sao Timothy
The comparatively unexposed SAO TIMOTHY showed promising signs in October and may find enough improvement to open his account on classified debut. Uther Pendragon (second choice) and Private Bryan are obvious dangers on form shown this winter, while Broad Appeal has possibilities at this level on his reappearance and No Diggity could well revive.
