16:50 – Egoiste
Several runners arrive in decent form, but EGOISTE is effectively ahead of the assessor and could record a second win. Urban Champion, who looks interesting, returned to this trip and is the second choice ahead of Calcutta Dream, Moon Over The Sea and Gypsy Whisper.
17:25 – Blue Collar Lad
Off a favourable mark and with Rossa Ryan up for the first time, BLUE COLLAR LAD may be the answer. Kodebreaker, another nicely handicapped 5yo, is the second choice ahead of Evasive Power, Sea The Buckthorn and Fieldsman.
18:00 – Race The Wind
Charlie Appleby holds a strong-looking hand with leading form contender RACE THE WIND and interesting newcomer Aurora’s Beauty. Although the Newmarket winner is the selection, market confidence behind her stablemate should be strongly heeded. Blue Virtue has possibilities, provided she stays the trip, while Spiritual Pursuit is also in the mix.
18:30 – Bradman
The strongest form contenders are BRADMAN, Northgate and Rubio De Oro, who filled the first three places in a similar event at Southwell 18 days ago. The winner was clear best and is selected to follow up, but the other two are open to progress and could make the rematch closer. As for the remainder, heed the market signals.

19:00 – Clipsham Gold
The consistent CLIPSHAM GOLD is interesting back at this venue and is taken to record her first win since joining Dylan Cunha. Avon Light, who may improve for the drop back in trip, is the second choice. Inverlochy and Enola Grey tie in with each other and the selection.
19:30 – Inexplicable
On current form, INEXPLICABLE holds the strongest claims, ahead of Havana Goldrush. Possible improver Portraitist completes the shortlist.
20:00 – White Mist (NAP)
None of these can be described as prolific, but few can be entirely ruled out either. Dyed In The Wool and Yaahobby make some appeal from a handicapping point of view, while Liberty Bay could enjoy the run of the race. However, the vote goes to WHITE MIST (nap), who appears to have been transformed by the visor, winning over C&D last month and then chasing home a dual subsequent winner back here 22 days ago.
20:30 – Smasher
Most of these have something to prove, but SMASHER hit a personal best with his breakthrough win over C&D two weeks ago, and he’s a big player again off only 2lb higher. The other recent course winner, Q Twenty Boy, is feared most, although Higher Law ran well at this track on his penultimate start and has possibilities if he gets the breaks.
