16:00 – Havana Notion
Havana Notion produced a decent win at Dundalk earlier this month. He’s got an ideal draw in stall five and he’s while he’s gone up 5lbs for his win, Horgan’s Horgan’s 5lb claim cancels that out. Below Deck looks the main threat but I have a few doubts about him so I’ll stick with Havana Notion to secure back-to-back wins.
16:30 – Sky Legend
Sky Legend is yet to win a race but has been running in top races and in decent grades. He comes here off a 35-day break and he should be hard to beat. He has a tendency to hang left so hopefully he’s got horses next to him to keep him straight.
17:00 – Elegant Man (NAP)
Freescape could go well but I’m with Elegant Man. He won at this track over course and distance when winning on his debut from a wide draw. The form has held up really well. Dundalk is a galloping track and it suits him really well. He looks very hard to beat.
17:30 – Roman Palace
Cold Cold Heart is interesting, especially with Billy Lee on board but I’m more interested in her stable companion Roman Palace. I’m forgiving her last run and recentcy bias could come into play with a couple of these so Roman Palace could be the value pick from stall four.

18:00 – Trishuli River
Zahee is a tricky horse and he has the ability to win but he has to take on the unexposed Trishuli River. She won ahead of Feature This last time out at Dundalk after a three-week break. I have a lot of respect for Shane Crawley and this should suit her.
18:30 – Blue Soul
Ger Lyons’ Blue Soul was ridden aggressively over course and distance last time out and I’d judge her more on her handicap debut. She’s stepping up in trip and she’s got a good draw in stall two. She sets a good standard against a couple of unexposed rivals.
19:00 – Shanadar
Local Girl runs a great race every time but she’s just vulnerable to a better horse in the closing stages. I like Shanadar for Mick Halford. He might have more scope and providing he relaxes in his good stall-three draw, he should be hard to beat.
19:30 – Manhattan Dreamer
Manhattan Dreamer drops back in company and she’s got decent form. She finished third last time out but she got out-paced late on. She steps up to 7f and that should suit her. While the stall-14 draw isn’t ideal, I’m happy to side with her based on the profile of the other runners.
