The very lightly 4yo CERVETTO could be on a handy mark for this handicap debut, especially now back up in trip, and he earns the vote ahead of Triggered who enjoyed plenty of success over 7f last year. Finn Russell and serial runner-up Mumayaz could also be involved.

13:27 Lavender Hill Mob (NAP)

The well-bred LAVENDER HILL MOB (NAP) got off the mark in a 1m novice here three weeks ago and could have plenty more to offer. He’s the pick ahead of Queen Of Atlantis, who arrives on a hat-trick and could be suited by this step up in trip.

14:02 War Bride

The filly WAR BRIDE has run well to finish second at Wolverhampton on her two starts and is taken to go one better here. Heathcliff went close at Newcastle on his second start and may be the chief danger, while Kempton third Spirited Lad could also go well.

14:37 Rogue Rosie

Warming has been shaping as though a first win is imminent, but preference is for ROGUE ROSIE who was an eye-catching third over C&D two starts ago on her sole previous run on Polytrack. Unavailable arrives in good form and is another to consider.

15:12 Man On A Mission

He’s An Angel comes into this in top form and is 1lb well in bidding for a hat-trick, but 5f on this sharp track poses a completely different question. Preference is for MAN ON A MISSION who is a three-time winner over C&D who looked unlucky not to get even closer when third at Southwell last time. The veteran Doc Sportello looks best of the rest.

15:47 Autumn Flight

A few of these like to get on with it so a solid pace seems likely. Coast is a player on form and has winning form over C&D, but the outside stall isn’t ideal so preference is for fellow C&D winner AUTUMN FLIGHT who drops to this level for the first time on his 76th start. Monsieur Fantaisie and Red Walls look best of the others.

16:20 Largo Bay

C&D winner The Conqueror should play a part if this race pans out better than last time, while The Resdev Way (1-1 on this surface) is an interesting contender following his encouraging stable debut at Wolverhampton last time. Gold Standard has the ability to play a part on his best form, but the choice is LARGO BAY who has run some creditable races in defeat lately and this looks easier.
