12:55 – Lark In The Mornin

An interesting rematch between Mordor and LARK IN THE MORNIN, second and sixth respectively at Leopardstown over Christmas. The selection was never happy in the testing conditions then and is taken to reverse the form, his previous C&D second looking the best form on offer here. Willie Mullins introduces French Flat winner Highwind, who has to be respected, while Jeaniemacaroney holds place prospects.

13:25 – Woodstream Lad

Some interesting runners here, not least joint top-weight Joyeux Vivo on his handicap debut. Consistent types such as Morricone and Ricky Bobby make plenty of appeal, as does McGrath From Clune. The vote goes to WOODSTREAM LAD who followed up his Thurles win with an excellent effort at Leopardstown.

13:55 – Pallas Athene

Annalecka looked a useful prospect when winning a Tipperary bumper in May. She might be best watched after eight months off on much softer ground. Slim Marvel can get into the shake-up if keeping up her progress. The safe bet looks to be PALLAS ATHENE who is likely to do better on this surface than on her reasonable track debut at Limerick.

14:25 – Dgalwaygallivantor (NAP)

Not a great many of these make tons of appeal. The consistent Mr Social is likely to run his race once again, while the market will tell plenty about the chances of Pay Later after a gamble went astray at Fairyhouse. Gavin Cromwell has a very strong hand here though. Despite being off since July, a case can be made for Clear The Clouds. But the one to beat looks to be DGALWAYGALLIVANTOR (nap), who won decisively at Cork in November when last seen and could have lots of improvement.

    14:55 – Springt De La Mare

    Not the deepest of races but interesting nonetheless. Slanagaibhgoleir and Find A Fortune both step up in trip after running in a maiden hurdle at Navan and the former is likely to be fancied to turn the tables. The lightly raced Chosen Thyme could be a danger to them all. The selection is SPRINGT DE LA MARE, not at his best in a Listed Navan bumper last month, but likely to appreciate this trip on his hurdles bow.

    15:25 – Buachaillbocht

    Testing ground could have been his undoing at Tramore so it could pay to keep the faith with BUACHAILLBOCHT on this better ground, the longer trip quite likely to bring further improvement from the 6yo. At the other end of the age scale Glenabo Bridge retains all his enthusiasm judged on a brave Fairyhouse win and holds every chance of repeating a 2021 win in this race. The Flying Donkey appeals as a potential improver upped in trip.

    16:00 – Maughreen

    Willie Mullins holds a 48% strike rate in bumpers this season and his debutante here MAUGHREEN, a half-sister to a bumper winner and out of a half-sister to Faugheen, could take the beating. Of those with form, Instant Tendance and Harrys Annie appear the best.
