17:00 Kentucky Kingdom

Both KENTUCKY KINGDOM and Cavalluccio are 2lb higher than when successful over same course and distance (C&D) in their latest starts with preference for the former, who has such a fabulous record around here and who did well to win from off a steady pace last time.

The progressive Jumeira Vision and the ultra-consistent Sun Festival are others for the shortlist, as is Letaba now returned to this venue.

17:30 Gold Aura

Even though the form may be a little suspect, On The Cards is still respected after her narrow defeat by a 1-4 shot at Lingfield last time.

Catrake Force is certainly a major player after finishing runner-up on her Wolverhampton debut last month, but the vote goes to GOLD AURA who showed plenty of ability for Richard Hannon and has joined a stable with a fine record at this track.

18:00 Liseo

The last two runnings of this have gone to a 3yo and King’s Code and Penzance look the pick of those from that age group.

However, preference is for the 4yo LISEO who won over C&D in September and probably ran even better when a close fourth in a valuable handicap at Kempton last time. Borgi suggested he was on the way back when narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton last month and may provide the main danger.

18:30 Riot (NAP)

Rogue Thunder has to be respected on his handicap debut after getting off the mark over C&D last month, while market support for Oliver Show on stable debut would be significant.

Band Of Steel looks interesting down in trip, but the vote goes to RIOT (NAP) who has a good record over C&D (315321) and is just 2lb higher than when winning here three weeks ago.

19:00 Ravenglass

Dual C&D winner Dors Toyboy is now 2lb below his last winning mark so has to be respected, while the 3yos Once Adaay and Stella Hogan also make the shortlist.

The vote, however, goes to RAVENGLASS whose two runner-up finishes in better races than this last month make good reading at this level.

19:30 Adace

Dean Ivory’s ADACE won with a bit of a swagger here three weeks ago and, provided she gets the breaks if ridden patiently from stall 1, she might well defy a 5lb rise. Legende D’Art looks ready to win again and so does Split Elevens, who are feared in that order of preference.

20:00 Thank The Lord

C&D winner Big Bard makes the shortlist off his lower all weather (AW) mark, while hold-up performer Jumira Bridge is capable of making an impact if the race pans out his way, but it may be worth siding with THANK THE LORD.

The minimum trip may suit him ideally, but he ran well enough from 1lb higher over C&D last time to suggest that a race like this is within reach and that form has since been franked. Revolucion and Kitbag are others worth a second look, while market support for Monitola on stable debut would be interesting

20:30 Diomed Spirit

The shortlist comprises in-form 3yos who hold solid claims and may well have more to offer on AW. Hat-trick seeker DIOMED SPIRIT is first choice, ahead of Alexi Boy, Holkham Bay and Star Of Lady M in that order of preference.
