11:30 Grenham Bay
GRENHAM BAY has slipped in the weights but he bounced back to form when runner-up at Southwell last time, finding only a progressive and unexposed rival too strong. Grenham Bay was no match for the winner but can have his effort upgraded as he made his effort much further away from the rail which is often the place to be.
He is 5lb below the mark he defied in May and, on the back of his encouraging effort at Southwell, is one to be interested in again.
12:00 Green Sigma
GREEN SIGMA responded well to the application of cheekpieces when runner-up at Wolverhampton recently, settling better than previously and running her best race yet.
She still had plenty to do on the home turn but made good headway out wide and finished strongly in second, doing well under the circumstances. She runs off a 3lb higher mark here but still looks well treated.
12:30 Sea Ice
SEA ICE was held back by inexperience on debut but she came on plenty for that outing and produced a more encouraging effort when third at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago, finding only a couple of above-average prospects too good. She can put that experience to good use here.
13:00 Fair Point
FAIR POINT is a sister to the very smart Group 2 winner Tribalist and she shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Newmarket last month, for all she was unable to justify 2/1 favouritism.
Fair Point was upsides over a furlong out and held every chance, but she could find no extra inside the final 100 yards and had to settle for third. She’s entitled to be sharper with that outing under her belt and holds strong claims here.
13:35 Oh So Grand
OH SO GRAND resumed winning ways on her return to the all-weather at Newcastle in October, impressing with how smoothly she travelled and how well she quickened clear a furlong out.
She only needed to be kept up to her work to readily score by a length and a quarter, and a 6lb rise in the weights may not be enough to stop her following up. The style of that Newcastle success suggests she could still have more to offer on the all-weather.

14:10 Sterling Knight
STERLING KNIGHT has spent most of the last couple of seasons being campaigned at six furlongs but he has proved well suited by stepping back up to seven furlongs on his last couple of starts and could still have more to offer at this trip.
Sterling Knight was more competitive than he had been for a while when fifth at Kempton on his penultimate start and built on that to score at Wolverhampton last month, picking up powerfully in the straight to overcome an unpromising position. He did well to win there.
14:45 Queensland Boy
QUEENSLAND BOY looked unlucky not to finish closer when fourth at Wolverhampton last month as he was denied a run over two furlongs out and then had to pick his way through over a furlong out. He is on a fair mark, doesn’t have many miles on the clock and ought to give another good account of himself.
15:20 Darlo Pride
DARLO PRIDE has been thriving of late and has either won or been runner-up on his last five starts. Darlo Pride took another small step forward when winning at Chelmsford on his latest start and a 4lb rise in the weights shouldn’t prevent him launching a bold bid in this kind of form.
