Much-improved when second over 6f here last time, MINT MAN (nap) has been gelded since and turns out again relatively quickly but has plenty of pace and could make all. Sorrento Sky was also second here on debut but over 7f and should go well but this trip might be sharp for him from an unhelpful draw. Branding and Mary Shoelaces can run well, while Ecoutez Bien is worth a market check.

This looks open. A tentative vote goes to NOTFORALONGTIME who has four AW wins to his name including two at this venue. May Night won six times on the AW in Britain and is potentially interesting despite having finished last of 16 in a Galway festival handicap on his first start for Denis Hogan. Eighty Eight is well suited by the race conditions. Chica Power has a decent record at this track.
16:15 Serious Notions
This looks like a good opportunity for SERIOUS NOTIONS, whose Listed third at Leopardstown has been well advertised by the runner-up Content in winning a Group 3 event at the Curragh and taking fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Best of the opposition are Horris Hill fourth Finbar Furey and debut course winner Port Augusta.
16:45 Dream Ticket
Touched off here a fortnight ago, DREAM TICKET has improved for the switch to handicap company on this surface and can go one better. Likely dangers are Sumptuary Law, who has consistent course maiden form, and Centuria, runner-up in a maiden here two weeks ago.

Now 13lb lower than winning here 14 months ago PIERRE LAPIN appeals in this grade despite a profile as a frustrating type. He has an edge over six-time course winner Whatharm on running here last time, although Pat Flynn’s runner is becoming well-treated after a long losing sequence. Others to consider are Darkdeserthighway and import Oriental Dancer.

Having been runner-up the last twice here over 7f, JAMES HENRY could get off the mark today dropped to this trip. Theriverrunsdeep is a triple course winner and can run well if backing up her second place last time. Senado Square has a tough task under a 7lb penalty for his 5f win here last time. Cholita can run well.
18:15 Reinforce
It could be worth taking a chance on REINFORCE who has run well in maidens here lately on both starts for this yard and is well-handicapped on his old form. Iva Batt would also have a solid chance if returning to her summer form. Bright Image was poor on soft the last twice but will be better suited to this surface.
18:45 Spy
Plenty in with chances. Perhaps SPY could bridge the 2l deficit with Walhaan from last time now that the latter is 6lb higher. The rapidly improving 3yo fillies Fairytale Princess and Final Check have shot up the weights but have to be seriously respected.
