12:30 Jolie Coeur Allen

With no depth to this maiden, it’s hard getting away from Icare Allen’s half-sister JOLIE COEUR ALLEN.

Her French effort reads well and she travelled strongly for a long way before weakening in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree. Soldante hasn’t progressed as expected since chasing home class acts in two bumpers last October but he appeals as the main threat.

13:00 Banprionsa

Barring accidents, this should be a walk in the park for BANPRIONSA who was clear of the rest when chasing home a talented mare at Cork. Thegingrin will improve when she gets to grips with hurdling but it could be Rachel’s Secret who takes second place.

13:30 Cest Rien

Although a 17-race maiden, CEST RIEN has twice performed well in a tongue-tie and it was a good effort from off the pace considering the weight she had at Fairyhouse. Magic Conqueror, who was ahead of the selection in her final race, has to make the shortlist and so too Mitiva and Lucky Viv.

14:00 Kiln Time

A 6lb rise in the ratings for winning at Wexford may not be enough to prevent the late-developing KILN TIME from following up. Golden Symphony ran a blinder at Limerick in July after a very long layoff and could go close if reproducing that form.

Ivane and Onefortheditch both need to bounce back from below-par displays.

14:30 Noble Blue

Paul Nolan’s NOBLE BLUE has the beating of several of these on Gowran form and is also interesting on account of his point-to-point second behind talented bumper horse Brechin Castle. Carrig Carol and Wee Charlie may do better than at Gowran.

Got To Fly, whose dam was talented, could take to chasing effectively.

15:00 Intersky Sunset (NAP)

There should be more improvement to come from recent handicap hurdle winner INTERSKY SUNSET (NAP), whose rider’s claim is an asset. The obvious danger is Kings Halo who went close at Clonmel earlier in the month.

15:30 Wheres My Jet

The 4yo gelding WHERES MY JET has displayed distinct promise in both his runs and he’s now with Willie Mullins, which naturally heightens interest. Cappucino would be his most likely threat, though it was a promising start made by The Last Drop at Galway.
