17:00 – Maggie McGrath
Maggie McGrath has decent form on the all-weather track and she’s the one to beat with Oisin McSweeney taking off 5lbs too. If she runs anything near her best, she’ll be too hard to beat.
17:30 – Celtic Revival
Celtic Revival has brilliant form and James Ryan, who is taking off 2lbs, knows him really well. Once they start going a decent gallop, it will suit Eddie Lynam’s runner. He will hit the front late on and he’s good enough to get it done, even though there could be slight concerns about the 1m 2f trip being too sharp, considering his last two wins came over 1m 4f.
18:00 – Whispersinthewind
I’m not sure stepping up to 7f will suit Sweetest and she could be vulnerable. Whispersinthewind should be very hard to beat after a cracking run on her debut at Dundalk in September. She was eye-catching that day and she looked great after hitting the line. Her Dam won at this track and she’s a smart filly in the making. Strike When Ready could be the biggest threat.
18:30 – Didnthavemuchtodo
Persian Jewel did well to win last week but she showed greenness. Keep In Touch and Didnthavemuchtodo are of interest – and I’m with the latter. She’s switching to the surface for the first time and she should be able to get a nice position from stall four. She’s the one to beat for Joseph O’Brien.

19:00 – Formal Display
Cathal shaped up with mild promise last time out but I have doubts over him and Emphasis. Formal Display seems the smart pick for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane. He finished second at the Curragh in August and then finished behind Diego Velazquez in the Champions Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown in September. He can bounce back.
19:30 – Migdam (NAP)
Migdam won last time out at Dundalk and he stayed on very well. The form of that race has worked out brilliantly and given his all-weather profile, he is going to be very hard to beat. Adam Caffrey is on board and he’s taking off 5lbs for trainer Adrian McGuinness.
20:00 – Elephant John (each-way)
Pink Socks lacked a turn of foot last week on the all-weather at Dundalk so I’m happy to take her on. I like Elephant John the most and the booking of Colin Keane is interesting. He’s off a mark of 57 and he shaped with promise last time out at Dundalk on October. He’s got a great draw in stall four too.
20:30 – Knockmore Prince (each-way)
Knockmore Prince was very frustrating for us last season when getting beaten once or twice. He’s finished second three times at Dundalk but he ran really well in October after a long break. He’s drawn in stall 14 but that’s alright because he needs to be held up. He’s a good each-way shout against Von Krolock.
