With this in mind, the betting could be informative. As things stand, ROMFORD comes here on the back of a positive performance and he edges preference over Rogerwaswrong.
14:30 – Old Faithful
Man Of Worth and Vadali are newcomers who need checking in the market but experience will count double under these conditions. Aidan O’Brien has a strong hand and, while OLD FAITHFUL hasn’t been making life easy for himself, he just about has the best form of these. Chantilly beat The Euphrates at Killarney and may do so again. Kolachi and Thor’s Hammer are by no means ruled out.
15:05 – Fleur De Chine
An interesting maiden and both Port Fairy and Strolling have to be of interest for top yards, especially with their Classic entries. Alpheratz and Hazbaiya look sure to be involved but the suggestion is FLEUR DE CHINE. She was getting the hang of things late on at Naas and this softer surface should be in her favour when the dam won on soft ground, as did her sister Madame Chiang at the highest level.
15:40 – Yuzu
This looks like a good opportunity for YUZU, second at Bellewstown and tipped to emerge best in a rematch with Lisiuex and Sneddy Eddie. Silkis Sib may be capable of further progress. Lope De Rueda makes some appeal as a possible dark horse.

16:15 – Starting Monday
Manhattan Dandy arrives here in the form of his life and is likely to keep things simple towards the head of affairs. There are dangers, though, and STARTING MONDAY won’t be far away if getting the breaks, which wasn’t the case last time. What Adaay is preferred of the remainder. All three reserves would have each-way claims if getting in.
16:50 – Randall Poets Lass
Slight preference is for RANDALL POETS LASS, who should be suited to this longer trip on the evidence of two staying-on runs over 1m. She faces an obvious danger in Feathertop who would have to give her 2lb in a handicap. Vera’s Secret and Catwalk Couture could also feature.
17:25 – Rioja Alta (NAP)
But for meeting interference at a crucial stage, RIOJA ALTA (nap) would have finished closer to Timeless Piece at Killarney. He is tipped to reverse the form and may also see off a likely challenge from Big Island who is fit from hurdling and is on the same mark as when winning at Galway two years ago on his penultimate Flat start. Sir Allen is a very useful hurdler and may improve on recent Flat displays.
