SLAINTE MHATH is a progressive sprinter when there’s give in the ground and turned in best effort to win at Hamilton last week (2lb well in, despite penalty), after which her trainer confirmed the key to her is soft ground; big chance if the ground turns in her favour.

17:55 – Epsom – Alhambra Palace – Cambridge Evening New

Down the field in his three qualifying runs but he was sent off a warm favourite for his handicap debut at Leicester two weeks ago and showed improvement, still looking green but keeping on well down the middle of the track to finish a half-length fourth (less than a length seperated the first six home); ALHAMBRA PALACE is 1lb higher today but stepping up in distance could prompt further progress.

Solid efforts in handicaps last twice; LORD VADER was no match for Alanya in the Ladies Derby at the Curragh; can improve here and odds suggest good each-way value.
