Horse Racing Tips: An 10/1 NAP leads the line at Lingfield today

The Racing Post fancy the look of Part Time Britain in the 16:30.

15:00 – Ticket To Alaska

This looks a tricky puzzle. Intoxicata and Billaki Mou have something to recommend them but TICKET TO ALASKA has shown enough to think a similar race could go his way and he’s preferred.

15:30 – Isle Of Wolves

Lady Bryanston takes on exposed rivals and could improve for this longer trip so she’s a serious contender, even allowing for her tail-flashing antics here three weeks ago. Huscari and This Ones For Fred (second choice) are respected but ISLE OF WOLVES ran several good races in defeat on the AW over the winter and this weak handicap offers him a realistic chance of ending his lengthy losing run.

 

16:00 – Doddies Impact

The Brocklesby form hasn’t worked out but DODDIES IMPACT could do no more than win in determined fashion and he may be able to defy his penalty starting out for Clive Cox. Battleofbaltimore (second choice) was very green on his Brighton debut and may reverse placings with Professor Tickle while Mysterious Soul and Emirates Angel are newcomers to note and need a market check. The Good Biscuit shouldn’t be underestimated either despite stepping back up in grade.

16:30 – Part Time Britain (NAP)

Grey Gray, the only winner in the field, should benefit from 6f and go well, while Mediate Alexander, Moreginplease and Seven Aces (second choice) also have bits of form that bring them into the reckoning. PART TIME BRITAIN (NAP) looks ready for 6f now though and his last two runs have both suggested that there is a bigger run around the corner.

 

17:05 – Ivory Madonna

Although IVORY MADONNA was beaten when a red-hot favourite for her final run as a 2yo, the filly that beat her is now British Horseracing Authority (BHA) -rated 90 and it was probably a better effort than it looked at the time. She has an absence to overcome but her best 2yo efforts read well and she can prove too strong for Time’s Eye and Eleutheromania.

17:40 – Skallyway Bay

Betweenthesticks has had a few excuses this season and a repeat of his Salisbury second in May would give him strong claims. Lipsink and So Smart (second choice) can both go well but SKALLYWAG BAY may be the answer. She has improved since dropping to 5f and the way she went through her race at Windsor last time offers some encouragement that she’s still well treated. She’s drawn on the outside but they look set to go hard here and being dropped in may be advantageous.
