After a good run in a handicap on his British debut, JEEPYDOFF MEEL sets the standard. St Patricks Bridge would be a threat if at his best but the main danger might come from Gaius.
Misty Mani has plenty going for her back at this track, on good ground and with Brian Hughes to help. It will be no surprise to see her go close but preference is for handicap debutant SUMMERGROUNDS, who can show what he can do over hurdles now tackling a suitable trip.
Although taking a leap in class, KING ALEXANDER (NAP) could prove the answer to this good handicap. He won with something in hand when taking a handicap two starts ago and looks capable of better. Mullinaree should continue to run well but most threat may come from Earlofthecotswolds on his return to hurdles.
Gentleman Valley has plenty going for him but BETTY BALOO has been thriving in chases here this spring and can make a successful switch back to hurdling.
Fierami showed enough in a point to suggest he can play a part while High Noon (second choice) is more likely than many to give his running. This is a far cry from the sort of races CASA TALL has been contesting and he can benefit from the marked drop in class.
Copper Fox (second choice) ran well enough on his chasing debut to hold solid claims while Rocambolas will have to show more resolve than he did at Worcester. HONNEUR DE SIVOLA performed well on his recent first chasing attempt and is given the nod.
There is plenty of commendable recent form in this field but VISION OF HOPE may be able to repeat the dose after making up her ground late in the day to win at Huntingdon. Embolden is narrowly preferred as best of the rest, but with Prospect House, Belvedere Blast and Clean Getaway also very much in the picture after their latest efforts.
