As the three that have run have shown just ordinary form this is likely to go to a newcomer and the well-drawn Super Sprint entry MAPMAKER is the suggestion. Geologist is another who could go well.
14:50 – King Harry
Having shown improved form when fourth on his first try at this trip here last week KING HARRY is taken to get off the mark this time. Pledgeofallegiance looks his main threat.
15:20 – Crystal Mariner
There is not much to choose on form between CRYSTAL MARINER, Burglar, Nine Six Five and Three Yorkshireman but they are preferred in that order, with the first three still bringing hopes of significant potential. It would take a good newcomer to upstage that bunch but it might not be beyond Spectacular Style judged on pedigree and he needs a market check.
15:50 – Nakano
An interesting race with some well-bred fillies in opposition. NAKANO shaped with distinct promise in a Newmarket maiden won by the Musidora third Infinite Cosmos and she may have got in lightly given her potential. This longer trip should be a piece of cake for Spring Fever and she’s second choice, though Zarga, Khinjani and Flight Of Angels are by no means dismissed lightly.

16:20 – Platinum Girl (NAP)
Having got off the mark by beating a subsequent winner last time PLATINUM GIRL (NAP) looks fairly treated off just 4lb higher and is taken to confirm the form with third-placed Ubettabequick. Handicap debutante Girl From Italy is another worth considering.
16:55 – Premiership
The key to this may be the race at Wetherby a fortnight ago in which PREMIERSHIP beat Kodebreaker by half a length with Makalu just over a length further back in fourth. There shouldn’t be much between the trio again, but Tracy Waggott’s gelding has clearly returned from his six-month absence in great heart and in his present mood he is taken to defy another 2lb rise and complete the hat-trick. Royal Prospect has gone well when fresh before and may prove best of the others.
17:25 – Spartan Fighter
Foreseeable Future and One Last Hug both come here chasing a hat-trick and hold obvious claims. Enderman, Monsieur Fantaisie, Merry Secret and Hurt You Never all have something to recommend them but it might be worth taking a punt on SPARTAN FIGHTER. Admittedly it’s a long time since he showed much on grass but the handicapper has given him a huge chance in this sphere, he looks well drawn and his amateur jockey has looked very capable.
