Tipman Tips use a points system to track profit and loss. To calculate your point value, simply divide your monthly budget into 100 points, it can be done with any budget and any value, for example:

* £50 Monthly Budget – 50p Point Value
* £100 Monthly Budget – £1 Point Value
* £200 Monthly Budget – £2 Point Value

So, in practice:

12:50 – Royal Ascot
Red Rum 5/1 – 1.5 points each-way (3pts total)

If you had a budget of £200 you would place £3 each-way on the example selection above (£6 total)

16:00 Ayr – Ventura Rascal

1.5 points each way

Ventura Rascal shown plenty of promise on his reappearance when 4th of 16 at Pontefract and just ran out of steam a bit in the closing stages. Should strip fitter for that here and, with better ground conditions to suit, he should be able to take another step forward from that effort. He’s a course and distance winner previously and is only 1lb higher than his last winning mark so looks nicely treated. Adds some value to a open looking race.

16:10 Yarmouth – Cherry Cola

1.5 points each way

Cherry Cola has 15 wins/places to her name and has been kept busy running over jumps and the flat. She was last seen on the flat finishing a good 6th of 16 at Nottingham when forced wide at the bend and finishing well in a close finish. All the horses ahead of her that day where rated 70-80 so dropped in class today to a handicap of 0-63 she looks very dangerous. Dropped 2lbs herself below that mark and has Rose Dawes in the saddle claiming 5lbs.

17:40 Kempton – Tahitian Prince

1.5 points each way

Tahitian Prince has won here three times which is always important at Kempton and has won 50% of his races in this grade. He drops in class here after running in a class 3 at Newmarket earlier this month. On a seriously dangerous mark given he won here in a class 2 event previously of 5lbs higher. Been lightly raced since but looks a big danger if back on song today.

20:10 Kempton – Evania

1.5 points each way

Evania had excuses last time out on her turf debut in a quality Listed race. She wasn’t beaten far in her previous race, at this track in a high grade 0-105 handicap, holding every chance till the final stages. Benoit de La Sayette is booked today with his handy 3lb claim which now puts her 6lb better off at the weights. She’s a previous course and distance winner and has every chance now dropped in grade in this 0-95 handicap.
