Soul Of Spain holds an entry for the Irish Derby and bids to get off the mark at the second time of asking in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 3yo Spring Series Median Auction Maiden (6:45pm) at Gowran Park. There is also turf action at Yarmouth and an all-weather fixture at Wolverhampton.

Prestige Novices’ Hurdle hero Now Is The Hour attempts to score on his second start over fences in the Ballykisteen Beginners Chase (3:35pm) at Tipperary but the field includes An Epic Song and Pinkerton. Southwell stages the afternoon’s other Jumps meeting.
