Grant Tuer’s Back Before Dark is another debutante who needs considering in a maiden where the market should reveal plenty.

There is little between the three on form but the vote goes to Charlie Fellowes’ colt TAWALLA who can take another step forward after his Catterick second. Doncaster runner-up Talha looks the chief threat, although Harriet’s Angel can’t be discounted.
18:30 – Glory Fighter
Reigning Profit is already a dual winner this season and weighted to have a big say but the vote goes to GLORY FIGHTER who can build on an encouraging Doncaster reappearance third and represents last year’s winning yard. Lotus Rose looks the pick of the remainder.
19:05 – Well Go Again
Wolverhampton scorer Glory And Honour (second choice) is much respected under a 4lb penalty but preference is for Sam England’s hurdles winner WELL GO AGAIN who can build on his Catterick fourth and capitalise on an attractive mark now that he faces more of a stamina test. Turner Girl and Yorkindness can have a say too on their first go over 2m.

19:40 – Fortamour
Rich Waters is not without interest starting out for Grant Tuer and multiple course and distance (C&D) scorer Mark’s Choice is another who could easily bounce back. Count D’Orsay needs factoring in too off a falling mark but FORTAMOUR (NAP) signalled he’s ready to go in again when an encouraging fourth over C&D last time and can repeat last year’s win.
20:15 – Berties Wish
Bollin Margaret (second choice) made an encouraging return when fourth at Beverley so this C&D winner needs considering, along with the consistent duo Bushfire and Cedar Rapids. However, BERTIES WISH reverts to the Flat on a handy-looking mark after a productive spell over hurdles for Jennie Candlish and can emerge on top.
20:45 – Annalee Lass
he Lawrence Mullaney-trained ANNALEE LASS arrives on the up and with the form of her Wolverhampton second having been franked she is taken to resume winning ways on her first go on turf. The consistent Zakram rates the chief threat ahead of Ribkana, who can have a say if building on her Wetherby reappearance fifth.
