14:50 – Brighton – Junoesque – The Times

Seattle King eventually exploited some considerable help from the handicapper when scoring over 1m2f ten days ago and is unexposed over today’s trip but multiple course winner JUNOESQUE was making her seasonal debut when a very respectable fifth in that race and she gets the vote in the hope that run has brought her on. Urban Forest is a more speculative option to consider.

16:10 – Nottingham – Crystal Caprice – Nottingham

The lightly raced 4 year old CRYSTAL CAPRICE is from a family Sir Michael Stoute has excelled with and she could be set for another progressive campaign. Golden Lyra impressed in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud last October and is a big danger despite the 3lb penalty. Misty Dancer and Sunset Shiraz are other interesting contenders.

17:48 – Ballinrobe – Hard Rain – The Irish Sun

HARD RAIN was runner-up in handicap hurdles at Gowran and Sligo last autumn and ran to a similar level over fences the last twice; consistent sort entitled to be thereabouts back hurdling.

19:00 – Newcastle – Laser Guided – Sporting Times

Kingman colt; 400,000gns yearling; LASER GUIDED improved on debut run when runner-up to a subsequent winner here in January; tongue-tie now tried; longer trip should suit (dam half-sister to Golden Horn); sets the standard.
