Captain Corcoran would have been much closer to Freedom Flyer at Thirsk last time out but for jumping awkwardly from the stalls which resulted in a very slow start, but he made late headway into fourth beaten just over three lengths. Last year he was third over course and distance when left isolated racing up the centre of the track before joining the winner on the near side of the course. Should come on for the run last time out fitness wise and looks good value to go well today.
16:48 Catterick – Glory And Honour

Glory And Honour is a course and distance winner who’s back at a good trip and the ground at Doncaster didn’t suit so this is a race that suits him much better and, having had two runs now this season, he should be a lot fitter. Course specialist seem to do a lot better here and with Jason Watson booked he looks a lively contender at a decent price here.
19:00 Kempton – So Chic
1.5 points each way
So Chic was a very nice winner last time out at Wolverhampton and looks progressive enough to follow up again today with another good run. Only nudged up 2lbs for the win last time which may be underestimating her current level. A consistent type who’s usually in and around the places in most efforts and, in this weak looking race, it’s hard to see her out the frame.
