Tipman Selection – Richmond Lake

This is a small field so we’re not exactly getting big prices but Richmond Lake looks a serious player. He’s very unexposed over fences and stepped up in trip when bolting up over hurdles at Sedgefield. He raced at Haydock once when finishing second to Jonbon, which is as solid a bit of form. He’s on a very workable mark for a horse who’s more likely to take a step forward. Theo Gillard is booked and he’s been riding very well of late.

Tipman Selection – Mr Muldoon

Mr Muldoon isn’t a normal 10-year-old as he remains pretty lightly raced. He drops back into a class 4 where he has a record of four wins from five races. He has also been competing with credit in class 2 events lately. He has form on soft ground and I’m happy to put a line through the P on his last start over 3m as he drops back to a much more suitable trip. Plenty have chances in this but all the value lies with Mr Muldoon. The yard’s been in good form lately and the trainer has a 25% strike rate at Haydock.

Tipman Selection – No Cruise Yet

We’ve been trying to find something that could beat No Cruise Yet but nothing can take him on. He drops back in grade having ran very well in a class 2 event last time out. He has course and distance winning form and looks extremely well suited to the test. He’s well handicapped and both the trainer Sam England and jockey Jonathan England have a great record at Haydock. There is just so much to like about his chances.
