17:30 – Boasty

Both Solanna and Give A Little Back have been running well enough lately to suggest they could make an impact, while Moonis is well worth a market check on his return. However, this may be an opportunity for BOASTY to return to winning form after having split a couple of last-time-out winners when narrowly beaten over C&D nine days ago. A repeat of that effort may be enough.

18:00 – Haaland (NAP)

Having made all on handicap debut in January it would be no surprise to see further improvement from Timewave, while Balboa also remains open to progress on his handicap debut. The selection, however, is HAALAND (NAP) who has done particularly well since going handicapping and should appreciate the return to this level after finishing third in a stronger contest over C&D last time.

18:30 – American Rose

Although the return to 6f is a question mark, Eight Mile comes into this in good heart and that should count for plenty in this field. Sajwaan is another to consider having finished second in his only start on Tapeta at Newcastle and performed well in his last two outings at Lingfield, but the vote goes to course winner AMERICAN ROSE who ran well to finish fourth in a stronger handicap than this last time. Provided she is ready to go after ten weeks off, she must have a major chance.

19:00 – Divine Rapture

Market support for the only debutant Peace Man would be significant and this race went to a newcomer last year, but the two runnings prior to that had gone to a previous winner and can do so again courtesy of DIVINE RAPTURE. She made a successful belated debut at Lingfield last month and can confirm the form with the runner-up Endued with the experience under her belt, despite being 7lb worse off. Gastronomy and Painters Palette are worth a market check on their respective reappearances, while there may yet be a bigger effort in Hoornblower.

 

19:30 – Bird For Life

There was little to choose between Heath Rise and Frame Rate when they finished second and third over 1m6f here last time and there may not be much between them again, but with the latter having won over C&D he may fare best of the pair this time. Rock Chant is respected under a penalty for his recent Lingfield win but the race may be run to suit BIRD FOR LIFE who is taken to record her fifth success over C&D.

20:00 – Letmelivemylife

Despite being lightly raced of late, previous C&D winner LETMELIVEMYLIFE proved he still has what it takes when winning in game style at Chelmsford last time. A 2lb rise leaves him fairly treated on previous efforts. Bond Boy, a close third at Chelmsford, shouldn’t be far away again while the unexposed Candy Warhol is another to consider provided he isn’t inconvenienced by the drop in trip.

20:30 – Miss Calculation

There may be more to come from handicap debutant Okeanos while Peachey Carnehan can never be ruled out around here, but the vote goes to MISS CALCULATION. She clipped heels and lost her rider at Lingfield last time but had previously scored over this C&D and is weighted to confirm the form with runner-up Fly The Nest.
