13:40 – Fabrique En France

Today’s small field and the late gains made over 2m at Uttoxeter last time suggest that this may well be the right opportunity for FABRIQUE EN FRANCE. The chief danger looks to be Alto Alto, given that Garincha would have plenty to prove if the ground is not soft or heavy.

14:10 – Sams Amour

Riskintheground has the best single RPR but confidence in him is dented following his very meek handicap debut two weeks ago. A chance is taken that SAMS AMOUR will flourish with this switch to hurdling over a longer trip. Way Out, who brings a very mixed record, could have his own way up front and is feared most, although Much Too Dear did show promise at Wetherby.

14:40 – Shesupincourt

Having clocked up so many seconds this winter, SHESUPINCOURT may now go one better. She stayed on well over 3m last time. Flintara has much more to prove regarding stamina but had to grind it out for 2m4f wins at Uttoxeter on two of her last three starts and must again be on the shortlist. Cast’s Tasha, who’s even more unexposed, is third on the list.

15:10 – Lifetime Legend

Preference is for LIFETIME LEGEND (NAP), who came good when justifying favouritism with an easy win at Catterick last week and is a major player again under a penalty. Pyramid Place was a creditable third in his bid for a double at Wetherby last month and he’s feared most on this drop back in grade. Kotmask has reached the frame in his last three handicaps and he still has potential, while another to consider is Pearly Island.

15:40 – Police Academy

Extraordinary Man made a respectable start over fences at Leicester last month and has claims if he can build on that back in a handicap. Keiran Burke’s chase winner Letsbe Avenue is respected, while The Grey Falco is on a dangerous mark and needs a close look on his first run for Ben Pauling. However, the vote goes to Irish point winner POLICE ACADEMY, who has shown promise over hurdles this winter and is an interesting contender now switched to chasing on her handicap debut.

16:10 – Sound And Fury

Donnie Azoff showed clear promise in his two hurdle runs last year and he sets the standard on his second at Stratford. He’s respected back from another absence, but preference is for SOUND AND FURY, who beat a subsequent hurdle winner when landing an Irish point last spring and is an interesting contender on his rules debut for Ben Pauling.

16:40 – Sambezi

SAMBEZI‘s maiden win in March 2021 came at this track and he made his first visit since when good second on latest outing, both 2m2f; he’s not proven beyond that (has tried 2m3f-2m4f), now 0-12 in handicaps and hung right in front late on last time, but has to be considered each-way.
