13:40 – Zefania

One Cool Lady might find this easier than some of her recent assignments but slight preference is for ZEFANIA. John McConnell’s filly was a useful performer on the Flat and while she didn’t show a great deal on hurdle debut in a Grade 3, this is a much more realistic assignment. Thegingrin and All About Lucy have shown ability, although both may come into their own over further. Feet Of A Dancer and Young Lucy are potential improvers.

14:15 – Got To Fly

A modest maiden in which GOT TO FLY gets a tentative vote on her penultimate run at Navan in a much stronger maiden. Parvos, Secret Rock and the long-absent Monty Don look the most likely dangers.

14:50 – Splashing Out (NAP)

An opening mark of 109 looks lenient for SPLASHING OUT (NAP) who has some decent form to her name in the context of this race and she could be hard to beat if she handles this quicker ground. It’s worth forgiving Only One Plan’s latest effort having failed to recover from an early mistake and he may bounce back with cheekpieces on. It will be interesting to see what the market makes of Ashton Court on debut for his new yard.

15:25 – Bythesametoken

A trappy sort of contest. Doyen Ta Win arrives bidding for a hat-trick but may have her work cut out from 4lb out of the handicap while Missiee has won four of her last nine starts. However, two miles on good/yielding ground is probably sharp enough for her. Preference is for BYTHESAMETOKEN who may appreciate a return to hurdles and looks well treated having improved since he was last seen in this sphere. Braganza and Britzka could both be big players if they bounce back to form.

Cheltenham Festival 2023 Preview Night

16:00 – Where It All Began

Given the benefit of a recent run over fences, WHERE IT ALL BEGAN gets the vote here, ahead of chasing debutant Barbary Master. Robinstown has every chance on hurdles form but has to bounce back from an underwhelming recent chasing debut.

16:35 – Added Bonus

This can go the way of ADDED BONUS who got off the mark over fences last time, only has a 6lb rise to cope with, and should have more to give back up in trip. Aodhan May is the main danger if she can build on her career best last time when tried in a first-time tongue-tie. The veteran, Capture The Drama, will find this easier than his latest assignment and Finnians Row is a potential improver back on quicker ground.

17:10 – Dancing City

Absent since a narrow defeat in this race last year, Cheltenham entry DANCING CITY can go one better here. Littlefoot rates a genuine danger however, while Power Hour could sneak a place.
