The form standard is set by PASS THE LOVE ON in a race that lacks strength, and she is taken to open her account. Dersy Social may prove the biggest threat, ahead of The Eminent Goose.

Useful Flat performer ARQOOB looks capable of opening his hurdles account at the third attempt, in receipt of weight from Boreen Boy who is the biggest danger in terms of hurdles form. Aristobulus, who could well improve on his Newbury effort, completes the shortlist.

14:25 – Counteract

Preference is for COUNTERACT who showed signs of a revival last time, remains well handicapped, has suitable ground and looks a spring horse judged on his 2021 form. Ya Know Yaseff, who looks open to improvement granted a clear round, is second choice ahead of Le Tueur and Cloudy Wednesday. None of the others can be ruled out.

15:00 – Rewired

The vote goes to consistent REWIRED, who has rock-solid claims back at the scene of his autumn success. Swinging London, who took a step back in the right direction last time, is second choice ahead of Denable. Market support for Ginistrelli should be heeded on his debut for a new yard.

15:35 – Dibble Decker (NAP)

With a record of 2-2 at this course and a likelihood of further improvement, DIBBLE DECKER (NAP) tops the list. Fellow last-time-out scorer and unexposed chaser Will Sting is second choice, ahead of Dom Of Mary and Rocky Lake.

16:10 – The Wise Traveller

The verdict goes to THE WISE TRAVELLER, who has been a solid performer in this grade this season and scored over C&D most recently. Robbie Dazzler, whose turn looks near judged on his autumn efforts, is second choice ahead of The Skiffle King, The Bandit and Let’s Go Amigo in that order of preference.

16:45 – Taras Hall

As regards the runners who already have bumper form, C&D winner TARAS HALLS holds particularly good claims and Ledders looks a solid second choice, ahead of Roger Pol who is now slightly more exposed following two defeats. Market support for rules debutant Mersey Street or any of the newcomers should be heeded.
