“Visually, she’s very impressive but she’s taking on Ashroe Diamond, Night And Day and mine and Ruby’s pick Lot Of Joy for the Mares’ Novice Hurdle.
“Magical Zoe’s a very good mare, You Wear It Well, Halka Du Tabert was probably a little bit unlucky at Fairyhouse. I think there’s a lot of strength in depth to take her on on the new track.”

Ruby wasn’t quite so sure what a banker was – given he always fancied his chances in every race!
He said: “It’s a tricky one, what is a banker? I think you’re asking the wrong fella. Every time I went to Cheltenham on a favourite I thought it was certain to win. A lot of them didn’t but I thought they would win.
“I think you’d struggle to turn Constitution Hill over. This is really unpatriotic but I wouldn’t mind having a go at Honeysuckle if I was riding against her in the race. I think she’s on the way down and she’s the one I think, unfortunately, she’s vulnerable – as much as I’d like to see her win.”
Our top number-cruncher Frank was in agreement with Ruby, but also had another ‘banker’ to take on at the Festival.
“Honeysuckle would be on my shortlist,” he said. “The one that I thought was very vulnerable and short was Delta Work. I think Galvin’s got a right chance at turning him over.
“If you take a look at the weather forecast I think the ground will play a part there, softer ground would probably be more in Delta Work’s favour.
“It was only last year that Galvin finished fourth in the Gold Cup. Apparently he’s schooled very well and there’s not very much rain forecast.
“They can’t water all the Cross Country track either so that might tip the scales in Galvin’s favour. Delta Work would be the one for me.”
