Horse Racing Tips: An 11/1 pick tops the list at Kempton today

16:55 – Daphne May
17:30 – Think Trigger
18:00 – Golden Sands (NAP)
18:30 – My Song For You
19:00 – Ring Of Gold
19:30 – Tomahawk King
20:00 – Alternativa
20:30 – Jumira Bridge

16:55 – Daphne May

Island Of Skye (second choice) still has time to do better, while Assembled didn’t live up to market expectations on last month’s stable debut but could take a step forward with that behind him. DAPHNE MAY may prove the answer, though, with this return to 1m looking in her favour.

17:30 – Think Trigger

Dew You Believe, Ower Starlight, Pittsburg (second choice) and Seattle King all have something to recommend them, but THINK TRIGGER has left the impression there was a bigger run in him and he could take a marked step forward with his recent reappearance behind him.

18:00 – Golden Sands (NAP)

Sense Of Worth remains of interest back over C&D, but GOLDEN SANDS (NAP) has recaptured form in these aids and he looked to have a little in reserve when beating Sisters In The Sky over C&D. Stately Home can go well fresh and looks to be a better horse now than when running well here early last year. Fat Gladiator was mixing it with well-treated rivals last spring and can do better yet, but perhaps not today back from an absence and over a new trip.

18:30 – My Song For You

Richard Fahey’s MY SONG FOR YOU shaped nicely on her 6f debut five weeks ago and promises to be suited by this step up to 7f so she gets the nod, although expensive newcomer One Night Thunder would be a major threat should the betting speak for him. Ikkari should also be thereabouts.

 

19:00 – Ring Of Gold

Follow Your Heart isn’t opposed lightly on his hat-trick bid, but RING OF GOLD caught the eye here last time and can take his C&D record to 3-5. Brunel Charm made a fine return to action at Lingfield recently and completes the shortlist.

19:30 – Tomahawk King

Quite an interesting 3yo handicap despite the lack of runners. The form of Just Bring It’s handicap debut third has worked out and he should go well but narrow preference is for TOMAHAWK KING, who shaped quite nicely on his 7f course handicap debut last week. The extra yardage this evening could bring about improvement.

20:00 – Alternativa

Infinitive would have to be considered on her earlier form if leaving her disappointing stable debut behind, while Golden Dove should again run well but she seems much more of a place prospect. Bluenose Belle has less to prove than many, having been in good form around here lately, but the vote goes to ALTERNATIVA. She is lightly raced but has shown ability and on pedigree seems likely to relish this stiffer stamina test.

20:30 – Jumira Bridge

Several of these are perfectly capable of winning at this level. JUMIRA BRIDGE produced a finish that many of his younger rivals would be glad to call on when arriving late to win at Chelmsford in October and should be happier back on Polytrack after two fair runs at Newcastle. Paddy K and Janaat are very likely to be involved, while Okaidi would also have good claims if taking to Polytrack.
