Fortescue Wood is a two-time course and distance winner and has found another good opportunity here to make it three wins from six under rules. He’s run here at Ayr in four of his starts and as mentioned winning twice and placing on the other outing. The slight drop in grade today is a bonus and although he’s untested on quicker ground, the official going is good to soft and he won well here on soft ground on his recent start. The yard’s in good form in the last 14 days and Bryce Lynns’ 3lb claim could prove to be valuable.

TipMan Selection – Fostersisland

Fostersisland is an experienced eight year old who’s got a perfect 2/2 record here at Ayr also has conditions to suit today. He has two wins on today’s ground conditions and has run well on good ground so any drying out of the surface shouldn’t pose any problems. He has a 50% win record over today’s trip and has a 10lb jockey claim as well as a big drop in class. He’s dangerous to dismiss in this field of runners.

Wolverhampton 17:30

TipMan Selection – Visibility
1.5 points EW

Visibility has been turned round quickly after posting a decent effort over course and distance on Friday when coming way off the pace to run on into fourth. He will have to be given more of a chance today but the race looks like it could shape well to suit with plenty of confirmed front runners in this line up. Four of his six career wins have come at the course and he’s placed in another five attempts here, so clearly likes the West Midlands track. He has a decent enough draw and a jockey in Frederick Tett who has a very good record around here so he represents some nice value in this class 4 race.
