Quel Destin won a listed event here back in 2020 and seemed to really appreciate the drop back in trip last time out when winning at Lingfield. He still looks very well handicapped on his old form here today and has a two out of two record in this company. Favourite is the main danger here but not much between these two and should produce a good shoot out. Nichols and Cobden to get the job done here.

Hitman Fred has been a bit of a late bloomer and is now 10 years old but is still showing plenty of ability. 5 wins from 10 starts since sent chasing and won a class 3 at Ayr after almost 2 years off the track 2 starts back. Has a very good record on good ground with 4 of his 5 chase wins coming on a sounder surface and should have that in his favour again here. Just 4lbs above bud last winning mark but down in grade and should have his say today.

I See You Well has been running with plenty of credit lately including a win on penultimate start when winning over todays course and distance. That was very similar to today’s race and he’s back on that same mark of 126 with Michael Nolan on board to add to the positives, looks a good each-way play today.
