You know we’re getting close to the Cheltenham Festival when Paddy fires up the Non Runner Money Back machine – and in a cloud of smoke and the clanking of gears the moment has now arrived!
So what does it all mean?
You can now back any of your Cheltenham 2023 fancies in ALL 28 races safe in the knowledge that if they don’t run in that race for whatever reason – you’ll get your stake refunded on any race they miss over their final target. The offer applies from 12pm 3rd February 2023. No rule 4 will apply until after the final declarations that are 48 hours before race time.
So let’s say you fancy Appreciate It ahead of his run at Leopardstown on Saturday. You’re worried he’ll go for the Turners Novices Chase rather than the Arkle Chase and you’ll do some of your dough if you bet on him now for both races.
Well worry not, my friend. If he misses one engagement for the other you’ll now get your stake back on the race he doesn’t run in.
It’s very, very simple.
Honeysuckle lines up in the Irish Champion Hurdle on Sunday and depending on how she gets on, connections could decide on a crack at a third Cheltenham Champion Hurdle win. However, your brain space is also telling you that the Mares’ Hurdle is a possibility if things don’t go to plan.
Fear not. Paddy will just refund your stake on the race she misses. Fact!
