Tipman Tips use a points system to track profit and loss. To calculate your point value, simply divide your monthly budget into 100 points, it can be done with any budget and any value, for example:
* £50 Monthly Budget – 50p Point Value
* £100 Monthly Budget – £1 Point Value
* £200 Monthly Budget – £2 Point Value
So, in practice:

Race 1 – 13:00 Southwell
TipMan Selection – Soames Forsyte
Wager: 1.5 points Each-Way
Soames Forsyte is a lightly raced unexposed four-year-old who has been heavily punted on the last twice which suggests connections think very highly of him. Last time out he met all kinds of trouble and had zero chance of doing anything in that race. The two recent efforts in Class 4 events and now dropped back in to a Class 5 he has to enter serious calculations again.
Race 2 – 14:10 Southwell

Wager: 1.5 points Each-Way
A slight drift in the market here but nothing concerning for me at all. Bought from the Crisfords for £25,000 and made a brilliant stable debut after a lay off of 245 days when chinned on the line. He’s only been nudged up 1lb for that effort and he’s less exposed than most of these rivals and open to unlimited potential. Now with a top yard in Archie Watson and has Luke Morris booked for the ride.
Race 3 – 12:50 Wetherby
TipMan Selection – Bring The Action
Wager: 1.5 points Each-way
Bring The Action, the winner of this race last year off a 5lb lower mark looks well equipped to go well again today. He’s one from one at the track and still remains relatively lightly raced. Had wind surgery a few starts back so should now help him to breathe properly as it usually takes a few runs for horses to understand this. A bold front running type who should handle the ground, he has every chance of taking this race again.
