The form of his debut in France has worked out well and if he finds any improvement on debut for the Champion Trainer, he could be hard to beat. It was another career-best from Ellis Boyd Redding last time out and he can give a good account if he improves again, while Ballycashin could go well back down in class.

It was a big run from MASTERMIND when runner-up on his return from a short break last month and he ought to go close if he arrives in the same form. Indie Belle is on a good mark back over timber and she’ll be in the mix if handling the drop down in trip.
13:05 – Lisnagar Fortune
Cardamon Hill is improving with each run but he might struggle to get the better of LISNAGAR FORTUNE who shaped like he would improve from his debut run when winning at the Punchestown Festival and he can concede weight to all.
13:40 – Lake Chad
A few of these shaped well last time out. LAKE CHAD has become well treated and he appeals most with the step back up in trip sure to suit. Fons Vivus returned to form over C&D last time out and can give another good account while Ardera Ru has been giving the impression her turn may be near.

Henry de Bromhead is adopting a different approach this season with MINELLA INDO in his Gold Cup preparation and he looks to have found a good starting point here for the 10yo, receiving 8lb from his likely danger Stattler, who ideally wants a stiffer stamina test.

15:25 – Beating the Odds (NAP)
Placed behind well-handicapped winners on his last two starts, this could now be the time for BEATING THE ODDS (NAP). Shes Some Doll could emerge the greatest threat.
