Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

Horse racing tips Royal Ascot Saturday

13:00 Wexford – Imagine (Daily Post)

Looked a smart prospect when impressively landing odds on bumper debut at Punchestown in February (2m, heavy) but missed the remainder of the season; that form hasn’t worked out that well but potentially smart novice hurdler for this season for new owners.

13:10 Galway – Soilse (Scottish Sun)

Prospering now now after making a belated start to the campaign; has shown her best form when apprentice-ridden on her last two starts, doing particularly well when out of the handicap at Leopardstown; has gone up 13lb, and now has Kevin Manning back aboard.

13:40 Galway – Summer Snow (Racing Post)

First two handicap runs were over shorter distances, shaping creditably at stiff tracks on two occasions; improved when stepped up to 7f at Gowran, rider’s loss of whip arguably contributed to defeat, going under by only short head to Rhythm King; good opportunity to go one better and should do so.

15:15 Wexford – Run Wild Fred (Daily Star Sunday)

Remarkable that he’s only won once from 14 starts over fences, that when landing last season’s Troytown. Runner-up in Leopardstown Grade 1 novice and National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham after that victory before early falls in Grand National and the Irish equivalent; good return when second to stablemate Galvin at Punchestown and Kennedy’s choice over stablemate Frontal Assault, plenty capable of being first here and should do so.
